Privacy Policy
This policy covers the Sofros habit-tracking apps: Everyday Routines, Centered, New Year's Resolutions 2027, and Lent 2027, including their widgets and Apple Watch apps.
The short version
We don't collect your data. Everything you record in the app lives on your device and, if you use iCloud, in your personal iCloud account — which we cannot access. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking.
What the app stores, and where
Your habits, check-ins, streaks, notes, journal entries, and settings are stored:
- On your device, in the app's private storage.
- In your personal iCloud account (Apple's CloudKit private database), if you are signed into iCloud. This is what syncs your data between your devices. This data is held under your Apple Account, protected by Apple's security, and is not accessible to Sofros. Apple's own privacy terms govern iCloud storage.
We operate no servers of our own and receive none of this data.
What we don't do
- No analytics or usage tracking of any kind
- No advertising and no advertising identifiers
- No selling or sharing of data — we have nothing to sell or share
- No accounts, sign-ups, or profiles
The optional AI assistant
Some of our apps include an optional on-device AI assistant. If you choose to enable it, the app downloads a language model file (about 700 MB) from Hugging Face's servers; that download is a standard web request and includes no personal data beyond what any web request carries (such as your IP address). Once downloaded, everything the assistant does happens on your device — your conversations and habit data are never sent anywhere.
Notifications
Reminders are scheduled locally on your device. Notification content (such as habit names) never leaves your device.
Purchases
In-app purchases are processed entirely by Apple. We never see your payment details. Refunds are handled through Apple.
Deleting your data
Delete individual items in the app, or use the app's reset option to erase everything. Deleting data in the app also removes it from your iCloud sync. Uninstalling the app removes all local data; iCloud-synced data can additionally be managed in your device's iCloud storage settings.
Children
Our apps are not directed at children under 13, and we collect no data from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new effective date. Because we collect nothing, changes are unlikely.
